Dr. Aizen trained at the University of Melbourne before completing specialty training in General Practice. He has held many senior roles in hospital based medicine and general practice. In addition, he has practised in rural and remote areas and has consulted for the Australian Defence Forces in East Timor.
He was president of the Australian Medical Association, Tasmania, and has been a Federal Councillor of the Australian Medical Association. In recognition of his services, he was awarded Fellowship of the Australian Medical Association.
His skills encompass a wide area of practice including acute disease management for all age groups, men’s health, chronic and complex disease management, skin cancer medicine and surgery and occupational health.
