Chronic Disease Management
“I want to participate in creating a new kind of care for all patients, I want to empower them to play an active role in the management of their health, and make them feel confident that their best interests are at the heart of everything we do at The Village GP Black Rock.”
Dr. Michael trained at the University of Melbourne before completing specialist training in General Practice. He has held many senior roles in both hospital based medicine and general practice in Victoria throughout his career, before spending time serving as the president of the Australian Medical Association in Tasmania. He even spent a short time looking after ADF personnel stationed in East Timor.
Seeking to spend more time with his grandchildren, Dr Michael decided to return to Victoria and has been practicing on the Mornington Peninsula for several years.
Dr. Michael particularly enjoys chronic disease management, men’s health and looking after young families. He also performs joint injections and holds a diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.
It’s an absolute privilege to have Dr Michael join our team to serve the Bayside community.
Appointments are now available with Dr Michael consulting Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday between 9 am and 5 pm.
